East Antrim Old Vehicle Club
Bailies is a member of the East Antrim Old Vehicles Club and is currently restoring various vintage/classic cars at its body shop. In August
2010 Bailies attended the E.A.O.V.C. cavalcade to Portrush which left from Belfast Zoo. "Give my Head Peace" stars started the race.
Charity Events
Lisa, from Bailies, volunteered in November with other
Woman in Business members to join Pamela Ballentine and take on the Habitat challenge
to build a house right here in Northern Ireland. Habitat for Humanity NI is a Christian cross–community movement for regeneration and
reconciliation within and between communities in Northern Ireland and around the world. The Madrid Street Project will offer a hand–up to
homeownership for local families in East Belfast who are on lower incomes.
Spring 2011 Habitat are commencing a new project at Templemore Avenue, East Belfast. This will deliver six affordable 3-bedroom family
homes. This site will also be welcoming volunteers. If you would like to register your interest please telephone the Volunteering Department
