Welcome to our Winter e-Newsletter...
All at Bailies hope you had a lovely Christmas and wish you all a healthy and prosperous 2012.
Bailies bodyshop has had its busiest January yet since trading began back in 2008. Instead of trading-in their vehicles
for newer models, we find that a good number of people are holding onto their vehicles for much longer and are improving
their appearance by touching-up the body paintwork etc.
At Bailies we can fix dents, regardless of which insurance company you are insured with and, where possible, we will help
you with your excess payment. So if you happen to be involved in an accident and need your vehicle repaired, please call into
Bailies for a free quotation before you contact your insurance company for a quote.
As an example of our workmanship, below is a photograph of one car we recently re-sprayed which had been covered in brake
fluid. Our car re-sprays start at £799 and van re-sprays from £499.

Winter is not over yet and it is likely that there will be more cold days ahead, so we would take this opportunity to
remind you of our FREE Winter Check/MOT Check. We are open at the weekends and if customers have to wait
for repairs or checks to be carried out there is a cafe on site where we can organise free tea/coffee. Alternatively,
Abbeycentre is only a short distance away. So don't delay, call us to-day to book your vehicle in. Mention our newsletter and
get 20% off vehicle servicing.

Marie Curie Cancer Care Quiz Night
In November we attended a quiz night at Corr's Corner Hotel organised by Muriel's Marie Curie Fundraising Group. All the
proceeds of the evening went to Marie Curie Cancer Care. Bailies gladly donated a full car valet as one of the raffle
prizes. Again as a reminder, our full car valets remain at the very competitive price of £25.
East Antrim Old Vehicles Club
It was with very deep regret that we learned of the death of Mr Donald Davies, President of The East Antrim Old Vehicle
Club, in November at the Belfast City Hospital Cancer Unit. We attended his funeral as a mark of respect to his family and
the Club. There was a good turnout of classic and vintage cars at his funeral and a beautiful poem was read out which can
be found at the following link.

Mr Robert Raj has now taken over as Club President and we wish him every success in his new post.
Northern Ireland's First Resolution 5K Run
We will be participating in Northern Ireland's First Resolution 5K Run at Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park, Belfast, on
Sunday, 11 March 2012. Resolution Run is an opportunity to raise much needed funds and awareness for those affected by
stroke in Northern Ireland. Strokes are the third biggest killer in the UK and the leading cause of adult disability.
By signing up for Resolution 5K, taking regular exercise and following a healthier lifestyle, you will be reducing your
own chances of having a stroke in the future. Everyday in Northern Ireland 12 people will have a stroke, 4 will recover,
4 will have a permanent disability and 4 will sadly die.
